USING COMMENTS

Comments are only visible when editing (e.g. on Frontpage express) or can be seen when you view a page's HTML but not when the page is actually viewed by a browser

So why bother???

They can be useful to the more experienced user for several reasons

1. You can add copyright detail to a page without overtly displaying it
2. You can indicate areas on the page. e.g "this is the begiining of our key menu" to help make navigating round the page when HTML editing easier
3. To remind you when editing pages with frontpage express
   For example if you have a page that a editor badly alters stick in a comment to warn you not to save it when opened in that editor later

To add one just click on Insert -> comment.. . We've stuck two on this page for good measure.
