This text is simply entered on the screen with no line breaks or paragraphs. See how the text warping changes as you adjust your browser window (click restore then maximize in the top right ). As you can see the text squidges back and forth losing the structure of the page. This can be a problem especially if 2 people look at your pages on say a 14in and 19in monitor. The person on the 14 inch would see things crushed together whilst the 19 in monitor all spread along a few lines

 

However this text is in a invisible cell with a specified width of 300 pixels. Note how it stays constant despite the changes in page width and images remain unaltered in position e.g.
